BEAVER FALLS, Pa. – The Thiel College women's volleyball team dropped a three-set (9-25, 22-25, 12-25) decision to Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) foe Geneva Golden Tornadoes on Saturday to conclude the 2016 season.

Jessica Monroe (Massillon, Ohio/Massillon Washington) led the Tomcats with eight kills on 14 attempts. Peyton Allen (Mineral Ridge, Ohio/Mineral Ridge) and Lenora Boyer (Delaware, Ohio/Delaware Christian) recorded five and four kills apiece in the loss. Allen added nine digs on defense.

Jenny Shelley (Port Allegany, Pa./Port Allegany) was a dig away from collecting a double-double, notching 18 assists and nine digs for the Tomcats.

Megan Sweeny (Freeport, Pa./Freeport Area) dug out a game-high 15 digs.

Olivia Test paced the Golden Tornadoes with 10 kills.

The Tomcats finish the 2016 season with a 12-19 record and a 5-13 record in the PAC.
