GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Thiel Tomcats earned a 3-0 Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) win over the Bethany Bison during Senior Day Friday night at Alumni Stadium.
Senior
Josh Ross (Sigel, Pa./Brookville) scored the first goal of the game in the 60
th minute on a corner kick by
Eric Mitchell (Barberton, Ohio/Barberton). Less than seven minutes later, Ross assisted on
Hunter Young (Columbus, Ohio/Thomas Worthington)'s goal, which extended Thiel's lead to 2-0.
Mitchell scored Thiel's final goal in the 87
th minute off of
Jordan Lilley (Jamestown, Ohio/Greeneview)'s corner kick.
Ross and Mitchell led the Tomcats with a goal and an assist apiece.
Christian Conrad (Barberton, Ohio/Central Catholic) made 10 saves to pick up his fourth shutout of the season. Michael Ceraolo made seven saves for the Bison.
Jack Waters paced the Bison with eight shots, five of which were on goal.
Thiel seniors Ross and
Alexander Green (Cleveland, Ohio/Cardinal Mooney) were honored during Senior Day prior to the Friday night's game.
