GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Thiel College women's soccer team suffered a 2-0 Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) loss Wednesday night to the Geneva Golden Tornadoes at Alumni Stadium.
Laiton Suders and Megan Schoeneweis each scored a goal for Geneva while Kim Orihel added an assist.
Bailey Smith (Carnegie, Pa./Chartiers Valley) paced the Tomcats with three shots on goal.
Allison Hamilton (Norton, Ohio/Norton) also put a pair of shots on target.
Kim Gentry (Madison, Ohio/Madison) and
Chimamaka Palmer (Northfield, Ohio/Mayfield) combined to make five saves for the Tomcats. Danielle Lincoln made five saves to earn the shutout win for Geneva.
The Tomcats will close out the 2016 season Friday night when they host the Bethany Bison at Alumni Stadium. The PAC game is set to begin at 5:30 p.m.
