NEW WILIMINGTON, Pa. – The Thiel College men's basketball team suffered a 74-63 defeat to Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) rival Westminster Titans, Saturday afternoon at the Buzz Ridl Gymnasium.
 
Luke Kochka (Monroeville, Pa. /Gateway) led the Tomcat effort with 20 points and six rebounds. Leandra Jackson (Boardman, Ohio) recorded 14 points, five rebounds and three steals off the bench. Khari Bess (Waldorf, Md./Maurice J. McDonough) notched 10 points, four rebounds, three assists and three steals.
Clandell Cetoute (Wellington, Fla./Wellington) pulled down nine rebounds, scored seven points and blocked three shots.
 
Deontay Scott recorded a double-double for the Titans, scoring 15 points and grabbing ten rebounds.
 
The Tomcats will return home on Wednesday, Jan. 13 when they take on the Waynesburg Yellow Jackets in a PAC contest. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. from Beeghly Gymnasium.
