GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Thiel College women's golf team defeated Waynesburg University Friday at the Greens of Greenville, 444-508.
Thiel's
Alyssa Mondl (Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio/Cuyahoga Falls) (84) turned in the best score on the day.
Kelsey Schneider (Butler, Pa./Butler Area) shot a 109 while
Alecia Glover (Erie, Pa./Fort LeBoeuf) carded a 118. Also for the Tomcats,
Taylor Duchon (Pittsburgh, Pa./Baldwin) shot a 133 and
Erin DiFalco (Murrysville, Pa./Franklin Regional) shot a 143.
Abby Richards paced the Yellow Jackets with an 86, which was good enough to finish second overall.
The Tomcats will take part in the Presidents' Athletic Conference Championships Oct. 2-3 at Cedarbrook Golf Club in Belle Vernon, Pa.
