CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky. – The number three seed Thiel College Tomcats suffered a 11-4 defeat to the number one seed Thomas More Saints in the elimination game of the 2015 Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Championships Friday afternoon.
Thiel scored all of their runs in the fifth and sixth inning.
Cody Trinch (Franklin, Pa./Franklin) doubled home
Dan Koller (Euclid, Ohio/Lake Catholic) in the fifth after Koller doubled in the left center field gap.
Josh Doody (Grove City, Pa. /Grove City) brought Trinch home on a RBI groundout. In the sixth,
Trent Mosley (South Euclid, Ohio/Brush) scored on a RBI groundout by
Matt Elko (Middlefield, Ohio/Berkshire).
Trinch,
Ryan Brumbaugh (New Wilmington, Pa./Wilmington), and
Trent Smith (Franklin, Pa./Franklin) each collected two hits in the game.
The Tomcats finished the 2015 season with a 28-14 record and a 17-7 record within the PAC.
