LATROBE, Pa. – The Thiel College men's lacrosse team concluded its 2015 regular season Sunday with a 12-6 Ohio River Lacrosse Conference (ORLC) loss on the road to the Saint Vincent Bearcats.
Timothy O'Shea (Cranberry Township, Pa./Seneca Valley) led the Tomcats with two goals Sunday while
Edward Kargbo (Alexandria, Va./T.C. Williams) recorded two points with a goal and an assist.
Bryce Pasquariello scored a game-high five goals for the Bearcats to go along with an assist. Nick Pensyl also notched six points for the Bearcats with three goals and three assists.
Ryan Weldon (Centereach, N.Y./Newfield) suffered the loss. He made 18 saves in 60 minutes. Greg Gonzalez earned the win after making 13 saves in 60 minutes.
The Tomcats finished the 2015 regular season with an overall record of 10-4 and 4-2 in conference play. They earned the No. 3 seed in the ORLC Championship Tournament. The third-seeded Tomcats will take on the second-seeded Saint Vincent Bearcats on the road in the conference tournament semifinals Friday at 5 p.m.
