GREENVILLE, Pa. –
Timothy O'Shea (Cranberry Township, Pa./Seneca Valley) and
Sean Loney (Linthicum, Md./North County) combined for eight goals Wednesday to lead the Thiel Tomcats to a 16-5 Ohio River Lacrosse Conference (ORLC) victory over the Bethany Bison at Alumni Stadium.
In all,
Timothy O'Shea (Cranberry Township, Pa./Seneca Valley) scored five goals to go along with four assists for a nine-point game. Loney tallied a hat trick with three goals. Three other Tomcats, including
Mike Bryant (Cleveland, Ohio/Cleveland Heights), Aaron Perry and
Brennen O'Shea (Pittsburgh, Pa./Seneca Valley) scored two goals apiece.
Edward Kargbo (Alexandria, Va./T.C. Williams) also recorded three points with a goal and two assists.
Ryan Weldon (Centereach, N.Y./Newfield) made six saves in a little more than 30 minutes of work to earn his 10
th win of the season.
The Tomcats (10-3, 4-1 ORLC) will close out the regular season on the road Sunday when they travel to Latrobe, Pa. to take on the Saint Vincent Bearcats. The conference game is slated to begin at 1 p.m.
