COLUMBUS, Ohio – Emily Harrigan (West Hartford, Conn./Hall) scored three goals Saturday, but it wasn't enough for the Thiel College women's lacrosse team, which suffered a 15-9 loss on the road to the Capital Crusaders.
 
Cassy Mahdi (Odenton, Md./Arundel) and Jennifer Rickens (Pittsburgh, Pa./Chartiers Valley) also scored two goals apiece for the Tomcats. Abby Spriggs (Westminster, Md./Westminster) and Kyra Farrell (Pittsburgh, Pa./Oakland Catholic) combined to make seven saves.
 
Kara Hines led the Crusaders with seven goals while Regan Hanood scored three markers. Maddison Wilson made three saves and earned the win.
 
Thiel (5-4, 4-0 ORLC) will host Thomas More Sunday. The Ohio River Lacrosse Conference contest is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. at the Rissell-Schreyer Dome.
