GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Thiel College men's lacrosse team rolled to a 21-12 victory over the Houghton Highlanders at the Rissell-Schreyer Dome Saturday afternoon.

Mike Bryant (Cleveland, Ohio/Cleveland Heights) recorded four goals and four assists for the Tomcats. Bryant also had five ground balls and a caused turnover. Zachary Macurak (Bethel Park, Pa./Bethel Park), Timothy O'Shea (Cranberry Township, Pa./Seneca Valley) and Aaron Perry each registered hat tricks. O'Shea had two assists while Macurak had 13 faceoff wins and seven ground balls.

Also for Thiel, Sean Lonwy, Edward Kargbo (Alexandria, Va./T.C. Williams) and Sam Raymond (Davis Park N.Y./Bellport Senior) each had two goals. Murphy Wood (Austin, Tx./LC Anderson) caused a game-high seven turnovers. Ryan Weldon (Centereach, N.Y./Newfield) earned his second win of the season while Chris Haray (Bridgeport, Conn./Notre Dame Catholic) and Charles Wistner (Orchard Park, N.Y./Orchard Park) both saw time in net for the Tomcats stopping eight shots.

Justin Flint scored four goals for the Highlanders.

The Tomcats will be back in action Saturday, March 7 at 1 p.m. when they travel to Cincinnati, Ohio to take on the Mount St. Joseph Lions in an Ohio River Lacrosse Conference contest.
