NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – The Thiel College men's basketball team defeated the Westminster Titans 66-48 Saturday in a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) contest.
After trailing early in the contest, Thiel managed to hold a 6-point lead at halftime (33-27). The Tomcats never gave up their lead in the second half and cruised to the conference victory.

Eric Mallinger (Pittsburgh, Pa./Taylor Allderdice) was one rebound away from notching a double-double. He finished with 12 points, nine rebounds and five blocks.
Avril Campbell (Dumfries, Va./Potomac) came off the bench to scored 10 points while
Khari Bess (Waldorf, Md./Maurice J. McDonough) scored eight points.
Paul Carswell scored a game-high 15 points for the Titans while Deontay Scott scored 10 points.
Thiel (12-11, 8-6 PAC) will travel to Latrobe, Pa. Wednesday to face the Saint Vincent Bearcats. Tipoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
