GREENVILLE, Pa. – Jaclyn Watkins (Aliquippa, Pa./Aliquippa) tallied her ninth double-double of the season Wednesday, but it wasn't enough for the Thiel Tomcats in an 80-59 Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) loss to the Waynesburg Yellow Jackets at Beeghly Gymnasium.
 
 Thiel led by as many as eight points early in the first half but trailed at halftime by 13 points (39-26).
 
Watkins led the Tomcats with 19 points and 10 rebounds. Brijae Journee (Cleveland, Ohio/Villa-Angela St. Joseph) added seven points for the Tomcats while Laken Shields (Franklin, Pa./Franklin) grabbed six rebounds.
 
Rebecca Kerr led Waynesburg with 23 points while Haley Delaney scored 12 points and Heather Davis pulled down nine rebounds.


The Tomcats will return to action Saturday when they travel to New Wilmington, Pa. to take on the Westminster Titans. Tipoff is slated for 1:30 p.m.
