LAKE WALES, Fla. – The Thiel College women's basketball team suffered a 74-37 loss Monday to the Warner University Royals at the Turner Athletic Center in Lake Wales, Fla.
 
Freshman guard Jess Vormelker (Orwell, Ohio/Grand Valley) led the Tomcats with 10 points while senior forward Jaclyn Watkins (Aliquippa, Pa./Aliquippa) contributed eight points.
 
Mariah Williams and Isis Mance scored 12 points apiece for the Royals. Mance also secured a game-best seven rebounds.
 
The Tomcats will continue play in Florida Wednesday when they take on the Webber International University Warriors. The game is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.
