WASHINGTON, Pa. – The Thiel Tomcats suffered a 65-28 Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) loss to the Washington & Jefferson Presidents Saturday at Cameron Stadium.
 
Ryan Radke (Lancaster, N.Y./Lancaster Central) paced the Tomcats with 223 yards passing and 149 yards rushing. He also figured in on all four Thiel touchdowns, three on the ground and one in the air.
 
Ron Howard (Sharon, Pa./Sharon) and Alex Horvatits (Lancaster, N.Y./Saint Mary's ) led Thiel's receivers. Howard caught four passes for 95 yards while Horvatits caught five passes for 63 yards. Horvatits caught a 21-yard touchdown pass from Radke late in the second quarter.
 
Freshman linebacker Doak Walker Jr. (Canton, Ohio/Canton McKinley) led Thiel on defense with 10 tackles. He also intercepted a pass and recovered a fumble.
 
Washington & Jefferson quarterback Pete Coughlin completed 20-of-24 passes for 363 yards. He also threw four touchdown passes. Ryan Ruffing led the Presidents on the ground with 132 yards on 18 totes. Ruffing also scored four touchdowns on the ground.
 
Jesse Zubik led the Presidents with eight catches for 167 yards. He caught two touchdown passes.
 
The Tomcats will conclude the 2015 season Saturday, Nov. 14 when they host the Grove City Wolverines in the 32^nd annual battle for the Mercer County Cup. Kickoff at Alumni Stadium is scheduled for 1 p.m.
