NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – The Thiel College men's basketball team fell to the Heidelberg Student Princes 65-58 in the final day of the Buzz Ridl Classic, held at Westminster College.
Clandell Cetoute (Wellington, Fla./Wellington) registered his first double-double of the season with a team-high 14 points and 11 rebounds. Cetoute also blocked three shots. Ceotute was named to the All-Tournament team after totaling 26 points, 16 rebounds and seven blocks during the tournament.
Khari Bess (Waldorf, Md./Maurice J. McDonough) scored 13 points and corralled 6 rebounds.
Luke Kochka (Monroeville, Pa. /Gateway) had nine rebounds, six points and five assists from the bench.
Kiere Bennie led the Student Princes with 15 points.
The Tomcats return home on Monday, Nov. 23 to take on the La Roche Redhawks. Tip off is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Beeghly Gymnasium.
