HIRAM, Ohio – The Thiel College women's basketball team suffered a 71-42 non-conference loss to the Hiram Terriers Wednesday at Price Gym in Hiram, Ohio.
 
Jaclyn Watkins (Aliquippa, Pa./Aliquippa) paced the Tomcats with 10 points. She and Taylor Ketler (Dalton, Ohio/Dalton) both grabbed five rebounds. Ketler also scored eight points.
 
Mercedes Jones and Brianne Goodrich led the Terriers with 14 and 10 points, respectively. Kaylee Shockley grabbed a game-best six rebounds.
 
The Tomcats will return to action this weekend when they take part in the Betty Abgott Invitational, hosted by Buffalo State. Thiel will face Buffalo State in the first round of the invitational Friday at 3 p.m.
