WASHINGTON, Pa. – The Thiel College women's volleyball team suffered a three set (26-24, 25-6, 25-21) defeat to the Presidents' of Washington & Jefferson in a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) contest.

Bailey Holmes (Roaming Shores, Ohio/Grand Valley) recorded a team-high six kills and three total blocks. Peyton Allen (Mineral Ridge, Ohio/Mineral Ridge) and Danielle Gomula (Northfield, Ohio/Trinity) each collected five kills for the Tomcats. Jenny Shelley (Port Allegany, Pa./Port Allegany) dished out 28 assists in the loss.

Defensively, Ashley Baer (Cambridge Springs, Pa./Cambridge Springs) dug out 15 President attacks.

Sarah Dindak and Taylor Freeman each led the Presidents' with 10 kills apiece.

The Tomcats will host the Westminster Titans in a conference matchup on Thursday, Oct. 22 at 7 p.m. inside Beeghly Gymnasium.
