GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Thiel College women's basketball team were defeated by the Hiram College Terriers 71-52 in a non-conference game Tuesday night at Beeghly Gymnasium.
Forwards
Hannah Stoneman (Sugarcreek, Ohio/Hiland) and
Jaclyn Watkins (Aliquippa, Pa./Aliquippa) each recorded a double-double for the Tomcats. Stoneman scored a team-high 12 points, while Watkins scored 10. Both Stoneman and Watkins each pulled down ten rebounds in the loss.
Sophomore guard
Erin DiFalco (Murrysville, Pa./Franklin Regional) totaled 11 points and hit 3-of-4 from behind the arc.
Taylor Duchon (Pittsburgh, Pa./Baldwin) scored eight points, all in the second half.
Taylor Ratliff paced the scoring for the Terriers with 20 points. Kayla Yost added 16 points and 12 rebounds.
The Tomcats will resume their Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) schedule Sunday, Dec. 14 at 3 p.m. as they hit the road to take on the Washington & Jefferson Presidents.
