WASHINGTON, Pa. – The Thiel College women's basketball team was defeated 77-55 by the Washington & Jefferson Presidents in a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) contest Sunday.

Taylor Duchon (Pittsburgh, Pa./Baldwin) scored a team-high 13 points for the Tomcats. Duchon also pulled down four rebounds, had three steals and three assists.

Jaclyn Watkins (Aliquippa, Pa./Aliquippa) earned a double-double scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds. Watkins also dished out three assists and blocked two shots.

Taylor Ketler (Dalton, Ohio/Dalton) and Erin DiFalco (Murrysville, Pa./Franklin Regional) added eight and seven points respectively.

Four players scored double digits for the Presidents, led by Beka Bellhy who scored 16 points. Valerie Dunlap scored ten points and grabbed nine rebounds.

The Tomcats will be back in action Saturday, January 3 at 1 p.m. when they travel to Crestview Hills, Ky., to take on the Thomas More Saints in a conference matchup.
