BEAVER FALLS, Pa. – The Thiel College women's basketball team was defeated by the Geneva College Golden Tornadoes 71-58 in a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) contest Wednesday night. 
Junior forward 
Jaclyn Watkins (Aliquippa, Pa./Aliquippa) paced the Tomcats with her second double-double of the season. Watkins scored 24 points with 15 rebounds; eight of the rebounds were offensive. She shot 9-of-14 from the field as well as knocking down six free throws. 
Fellow juniors 
Kayla Welty (Portville, N.Y./Portville ) and 
Amy Abdelrasoul (Brookfield, Ohio/Brookfield) each added 10 points, while 
Taylor Ketler (Dalton, Ohio/Dalton) pulled down six rebounds. 
Heidi Mann led the scoring for the Golden Tornadoes with 26 points. Mann also pulled down seven rebounds. Nicole Hyland had a double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds. 
The Tomcats return home on Saturday, Dec. 6 to take on the Bethany College Bison in a conference matchup. The tip is scheduled for 1 p.m.
