OBERLIN, Ohio – The Thiel College women's basketball team were defeated by the Oberlin College Yeowomen 74-46 Monday night.  

Jaclyn Watkins (Aliquippa, Pa./Aliquippa) paced the scoring for the Tomcats with 22 points and seven rebounds. Laken Shields (Franklin, Pa./Franklin) added seven points while Kayla Welty (Portville, N.Y./Portville ) grabbed seven boards. 

Three Yeowomen scored double figures led by Christina Marquette, who had 24 points.

The Tomcats will return to action after Thanksgiving break when they open Presidents' Athletic Conference play Wednesday, Dec. 3 on the road against the Geneva Golden Tornadoes. Tipoff is set for 5:30 p.m.
