Box Score GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Thiel College men's basketball team has been making a habit of coming back from first-half deficits this season.
On Saturday, the Tomcats dug too deep a hole and lost 57-54 to Grove City College in a Presidents' Athletic Conference game.
Thiel trailed the Wolverines 34-21 after the first half and was behind 38-27 with 17:19 to play in the second half.
The Tomcats answered with a 12-0 run to take a brief 39-38 lead before the Wolverines countered to build the lead back up to six (54-48) with 3:02 left on clock.
Thiel scored six of the next nine points with a pair of three-pointers by
Luke Kochka (Monroeville, Pa. /Gateway) and

Khari Bess (Waldorf, Md./Maurice J. Mcdonough) added ten points and four steals.
