GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Thiel College Blue-Gold Club will hold its annual golf scramble on Friday, May 24, 2013 at the Greens of Greenville. The event, which drew 112 participants last year, annually raises funds to support the College's 24 varsity athletics programs.
On the men's side, earning first place at the 2012 outing was the foursome of Nick Reiser, Josh Phillips, Dee Faulx and Chris Owens, who carded a 56.
On the women's side, the foursome of
Amy Schafer, Amy Becher, Barbara Blue and Lissie Erdice took home top honors at the 2012 outing, carding a 76.
Jared Fleming claimed the grand prize at the raffle. The package, which included a three-night stay at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, limousine transportation and two tickets to Cirque du Soleli was donated by Thiel alumnus Ron Ellwood '88.
