GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Thiel College Men's and Women's Basketball teams would like to invite all of its basketball alumni to attend alumni day on February 16, 2013.
 
Coinciding with Thiel's home matchup against Grove City College, this season's alumni day will recognize players from all teams, including any and all members of the 1,000^th point club in attendance.

"We're proud to follow in the footsteps of the many alumni that have built the Tomcat men's basketball program," seventh-year head coach Tim Loomis said. "Every year we try to honor the past while looking forward to an exciting future. I encourage all former players to return to campus to help us salute the founding fathers of Tomcat basketball."

Registration runs from 9 to 9:45 a.m. on Saturday, February 16, with the program holding it's annual alumni game at 10 a.m. in Beeghly Gymnasium. Afterwards, alumni are encouraged to attend a luncheon at the Howard Miller Student Center at 12 p.m. At 1 p.m., the Tomcat women's team will tip-off against Grove City, followed by the men's game at 3 p.m.
 
“It's important for myself and this group of Tomcats to strengthen our relationship with our alumni, to have their support, and to gather their input by sharing with them my vision for the program as we move forward,” said first-year women's head coach Rob Clune.
