Box Score LATROBE, Pa. – The Thiel College women's volleyball team hit the road on Thursday night for a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) match at Saint Vincent. The Tomcats dropped the contest by a 3-1 final, but the set scores indicated a much closer battle with the Bearcats.
 
After Saint Vincent (13-11, 7-5) took the first two sets by the scores of 25-15 and 25-19, Thiel (2-22, 2-10) responded with a 25-21 victory in the third set. Unfortunately, the home team closed out the night with a 25-17 win in set four to seal up the decision.
 
Junior Alex Hall (Norwin, Pa./Norwin) had a productive night in which she posted her second triple-double of the season with 11 kills, 17 assists and 15 digs. Junior Lauren Richey (Harmarville, PA/Springdale) chipped in a team-high 13 kills and three blocks, including one solo block, while freshman Alannah Keisling (Englewood, Fla./Lemon Bay) added six kills. Sophomore Heather Reichenback (Erie, Pa./Harbor Creek) led Thiel defensively, piling up 21 digs.
 
The Tomcats return home on Saturday, Oct. 19^th to take on the Bethany College Bison. The match is scheduled to get underway at 1 p.m.
