Myrtle Beach, S.C. – The Tomcat men's golf team dropped a close match to Olivet College 320-312 on Tuesday afternoon in Myrtle Beach, S.C.

On the par 72 Love golf course (6782 yards), the Tomcats were led by Bryan Smith (Franklin, Pa./Franklin) and Matt Graham (Clymer, N.Y./Sherman Central)'s seven over 79s. Other notable performances included Matt Eshelman (Butler, Pa./Knoch)'s 80, Aaron Wakley (North East, Pa./North East)'s 82, and Matt Fiore (Irwin, Pa./Penn-Trafford), who shot an 88 on the day. The overall winner was Ron Fesko of Olivet who finished with a two-over 74.

The Tomcats will next compete at the Westminster Invitational at the New Castle County Club on March 26.
