The Tomcats wasted little time asserting themselves offensively in the second, using a 17-1 run that covered the first 5:48 to extend their lead to 20, 50-30. The Presidents where able to whittle the lead down to just 12, 52-40, with just over ten minutes to play, but the Thiel bench finished the game off and helped secure the 15-point win.
