GREENVILLE, Pa. – Kelly Barzak (Warren, Ohio/Howland) lead a balanced Tomcat offensive attack in Thiel's 3-0 win over Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) rival Waynesburg University Tuesday night.

Barzak registered a team-high 12 kills and added 1.5 blocks as Thiel (17-10, 11-5) earned the 3-0 win (25-18, 25-15, 25-11) against the Yellow Jackets.

Megan Kay (Girard, Ohio/Liberty) totaled eight kills and five digs while Chelsea Meister (Liberty Center, Ohio/Liberty Center) distributed 34 assists while corralling four digs. Alyssa Chine (North Jackson, Ohio/Jackson Milton) added seven kills, five digs, and 3.5 blocks while Megg Andrews (Canfield, Ohio/Canfield) and Leanna Yeager (Poland, Ohio/Poland Seminary) each tallied five kills. Alex Hall (Norwin, Pa./Norwin) and Courtney Angelo (Hubbard, Ohio/Hubbard) chipped in defensively with seven and five digs, respectively.

Thiel will travel to conference rival Grove City College on Thursday, Oct. 27 for a 6:30 p.m. match.
