GREENVILLE, Pa. — 
Devon Adams (Philadelphia, Pa., George Junior Republic) scored a season-high 26 points and dished out eight assists in an 84-73 win over visiting Geneva on Saturday at Beeghly Gymnasium.
Blair Rozenblad (Youngstown, Ohio, Kennedy Catholic) also had a solid performance with 16 points and 12 rebounds and 
Aundra Jones (Youngstown, Ohio/Kennedy Catholic) totaled 14 points and 11 boards as the Tomcats held off the Golden Tornadoes for their third straight victory.
Thiel held a 48-38 lead at the half and more than doubled the margin with an 18-8 run to go up 66-45. 
The Golden Tornadoes made a comeback that started with a scoring drought by the Tomcats that lasted more than four minutes. Trailing 77-64 with 3:27 left in the game, Geneva made one last run with seven straight points to cut the lead to six. Adams helped ice the game with four points on a layup and two free throws.
Geneva, a provisional member of the Presidents' Athletic Conference, was 4-1 entering the game and was coming off a convincing win over PAC member Washington & Jefferson. 
Thiel has hit its stride offensively the past three games with 80-plus points in all three wins. All five starters reached double figures in Saturday's win, accounting for all 84 points. In addition to Adams, Rozenblad and Jones, 
Ladell Trotty (Cleveland, Ohio, Lutheran East) scored a career-high 18 points on 9-of-12 shooting in his first career start, and 
Lance Randall (Canfield, Ohio, Ursuline) accumulated 10 points to go along with his seven rebounds.
Rozenblad now has four double-doubles in seven games this season while Jones recorded his second in as many games. 
Richard Colick led Geneva with 14 points and eight rebounds. Lambros Svingos finished with 12 points, Bryan Hill had 11 and Dave Phillips and Drew Santarsiero scored 10 apiece.
The Tomcats will have one day off before playing a non-conference game at Allegheny on Monday.
