WASHINGTON, Pa. – Washington & Jefferson extended its win streak versus Thiel to seven games with a, 68-52, victory in men's basketball action Saturday afternoon.
The Presidents' improved to 15-6 – including a 6-3 mark in the Presidents' Athletic Conference – while Thiel dropped to 2-18 overall and 1-9 in the PAC.
W&J was led by Josip Lucic-Jozak, who exploded for a game-high 23 points. Three more Presidents reached double-digit scoring, including Wahab Owolai who notched a double-double.
Nick Sefscik (Allison Park, Pa./Shaler) paced the Tomcats with 12 points and seven rebounds. He also dished out a game-high-tying three assists.
Thiel continues its road show on Wednesday when it visits Saint Vincent.
