GREENVILLE, Pa. – Saint Vincent scored 25 points off of Thiel College turnovers to cruise to an, 80-50, win in men's basketball action at Beeghly Gymnasium Saturday afternoon. The loss dropped the Tomcats to 1-12 on the season, while the Bearcats improved to 12-2.
Billy Bains poured in a game-high 23 points for Saint Vincent, which never trailed in the game. Three other Bearcats reached double figures in scoring.
Junior 
Sean Devinney (Arsenal, Pa./Central Catholic) paced the Tomcats with 15 points, 11 of which came in the second half. 
Nick Sefscik (Allison Park,Pa./Shaler) scored 11 points to extend his streak of double-digit scoring games to six.
Saint Vincent also won the battle of the boards, out-rebounding Thiel, 46-36, with 20 of those coming on the offensive glass. Sefscik grabbed a game-high tying eight boards in the contest.
The Tomcats return to action when they travel to Westminster on Wednesday, January 14.
