NEW CASTLE, Pa. (April 14) -- The Thiel College women's golf team finished in fifth place with a team score of 522 at Monday's M.L. Cleland Eckles Invitational, hosted by Westminster College at the New Castle Country Club. Freshman Ashley Ahrens (Kennerdell/Cranberry Area) finished 12th overall with a round of 110.

Senior Nancy Nunnally (Pittsburgh/Woodland Hills) finished 21st overall with a score of 130.

Thiel will return to action on Thursday, April 17 at the Saint Vincent College Invitational. The event, which will be played at the Latrobe Country Club, is scheduled to get underway at 12 p.m.
