LATROBE, Pa. -- The Thiel College volleyball team was swept at the paws of the Saint Vincent Bearcats Thursday evening, 3-0 (25-21, 25-18, 25-18).  The loss has no effect on Thiel's seeding in the upcoming Presidents' Athletic Conference tournament due to Saint Vincent's provisional membership status.

Junior outside hitter Abbey Kiger (Mineral Ridge, Ohio, Mineral Ridge) registered 14 kills to pace the Tomcats, while Danielle Dwyer (Dalton, Ohio, Dalton) and Stephanie Shipley (Mentor, Ohio, Mentor) shouldered the defensive load with 19 and 14 digs, respectively.

Thiel (13-16; 8-5) play wraps up its regular season on Saturday with a tri-match at Thomas More.  In addition to facing the Saints, Thiel will also play Rockwood.
