Kati Robbins is in her fourth year as the head women's lacrosse coach at Thiel.

2013 proved to be a banner year for the women's lacrosse program.  The Tomcats finished the season with a record of 11-7 and went undefeated in PAC play.  They capped off the year becoming the first ever PAC Champions by winning the tournament hosted, which was held at Thiel College’s Alumni Stadium. Individually, Cassy Mahdi and Beth Snyder were named to IWLCA All-Region teams.

Robbins came to Thiel from NCAA Division II member St. Andrews Presbyterian College, where she served as the head women's lacrosse coach since 2009. Following the 2011 season Knights Megan Jolly and Kim McDaniel were named to the USACollegeLacrosse.com NCAA Division II Women’s All-American team, while Shana Schroeder was selected to the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) All-South Region second team.

Prior to becoming the head coach at St. Andrews Robbins was the head coach at her alma mater, Wittenberg University, from 2006 through 2009. In her final season at Wittenberg, Robbins led the Tigers to a North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) Final Four berth, which was the program’s first appearance since 2003.

Before entering the head coaching ranks Robbins served as an assistant at Gwynedd Mercy College (2003), College of Wooster (2002-2005), and Franklin and Marshall College (2006).

A 2002 Wittenberg graduate, Robbins was a four-time all-NCAC selection as a member of the Tigers women’s lacrosse squad and was named to the Brine regional all-American squad on four occasions.

As a senior, her 42 assists ranked her in the top 10 among NCAA Division III counterparts and also established a new school and conference standard in the statistic. Her 242 points are the most in program history. While at Wittenberg Robbins was also a four-year member of the Tigers’ field hockey squad.

Robbins has served as site director for numerous lacrosse camps across the country, including the STX Camp in Hudson, Ohio and the GameBreaker Camps hosted on the University of Washington campus.

Robbins is a native of Collegeville, Pa.
