Freshman golfer Tyler Zere was named the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Newcomer of the Year last week. He was also named to the All-PAC second team.

Zere finished ninth at the PAC Men's Golf Championship with a score of 156 and helped the Tomcats place fourth as a team.
