Senior pitcher Alec Katon went 1-0 this week in two starts, with the other start a no-decision that the Tomcats ended up winning. In his no decision against Waynesburg on Tuesday, Katon went six innings, fanning six batters and allowing only four runs on three hits. In his win over Grove City on Saturday, Katon threw one-run complete game, the first of his career, while only allowing six hits. He also only walked one batter. He also fanned four hitters.
