Sophmore pitcher Ashtin Kirkwood was honored by the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) on Monday as the Pitcher of the Week. Kirkwood went 1-1 in five appearances in the circle last week. She allowed eight runs, four of which were earned, on 15 hits in 18 2/3 innings of work. Kirkwood owned a 1.50 earned-run average last week and tossed a pair of complete games. She threw a complete-game shutout in Thiel's 11-0 win over Northland on Thursday, allowing four hits with three strikeouts in six innings. She limited opponents to a .200 batting average last week.
