Barzak was named the tournament MVP at Nazareth College’s Purple & Gold Invitational this weekend as she led the Tomcats to a perfect 4-0 mark at the event, finishing with a 3.27 kills/set average and a 1.8 blocks/set average at the tournament. For the week Thiel finished with a 5-1 overall mark with Barzak totaling 67 kills, 23.5 blocks (15 solo, 8.5 assist) and 19 digs in 23 combined sets while hitting a combined .402.
