Career HIGHLIGHTS

• Coached a First Team All-Conference linebacker at MIT in 2025

• Enters his first season in Greenville in charge of the Tomcat defense

Before Thiel

MIT (2025)

Ferrazzani spent the 2025 season as linebackers coach at MIT, where he coached a First Team All-Conference linebacker while helping lead the Engineers' defense.

New Hampshire (2024)

Prior to MIT, Ferrazzani served as defensive quality control coach at NCAA Division I FCS member New Hampshire. He helped guide the Wildcats to the 2024 FCS Playoffs as the tournament's No. 16 national seed.

Massachusetts Maritime (2019-23)

Ferrazzani spent five seasons as defensive coordinator and recruiting coordinator at Massachusetts Maritime Academy, where he developed one of the MASCAC's top defensive units.

During his tenure, he coached one All-American and nine All-Conference selections while leading a defense that topped the conference in points allowed, turnovers forced and sacks in 2019. That season, the Buccaneers also produced the MASCAC leaders in interceptions, tackles and sacks.
