Thiel College Athletics

Devin Weisbarth '22 was promoted to Assistant Athletic Director - Internal Operations in August 2024.

He also served as the Interim Director of Sports Information from September 2024-February 2025.

Weisbarth also previously served as the Assistant Director of Sports Information (August 2022-July 2024) and the Interim Compliance Coordinator (February 2024-July 2024).

Weisbarth is responsible for the department's NCAA Compliance, facility management, business operations and student success.

Weisbarth graduated from Thiel College in May of 2022 with degrees in business administration (sports management) and media & journalism (television, radio and online media). A five-semester Dean’s List student, he also earned a minor in coaching.
 
Weisbarth completed an internship with Thiel’s sports information department in the spring of 2022. His duties included game day management, public address announcing, historical research and writing game recaps. He was also a contributor for Massive Report and MLSNow Podcast for the Columbus Crew.
 
A four-year member of Thiel’s soccer team, Weisbarth ranks third in program history with 304 career saves. He was a resident assistant and a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity, holding positions of president and vice president of communications for Thiel’s chapter.
 
A four-year member of Thiel’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), he was involved with TCTV, Thiel College TV, the Thielensian, the campus newspaper, and WXTC, the campus radio station.
