Cameron Austin '25 was named Women's Basketball assistant coach in August 2025.
"Cameron will be a great addition to the Women's Basketball program," Jessica Vormelker, Head Women's Basketball Coach, said. "His love for the College, ability to connect with people and knowledge of the game will be a perfect fit for us. I am excited to work alongside him to continue moving our program forward."
Austin was a three-year starter at Bradford High School in Bradford, Pa. There, her served as team captain his junior and senior seasons.
"I couldn't be more excited to continue my journey on the staff at Thiel," Austin said. "It's a great honor to be chosen for this role, and I'm ready to give everything I have to support our players, both on and off the court."
Austin served as a Men's Volleyball manager last season before earning a spot on the active roster in the stretch run of the season. He was active on campus, serving in key posts with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) since his sophomore year.
Austin also helped train and teach basketball skills to youth children at Bradford YMCA.
