Thiel College Athletics

Rianne Thornton enters her fifth season as the assistant coach of the Thiel College women’s basketball team in 2017-18. She will also be entering her fourth season as the assistant coach of the women’s tennis team and her third season as the assistant coach of the men’s tennis team.

Thornton is no stranger to Thiel College. A 2012 alumna, Thornton was a four-year letter winner with Thiel’s women’s basketball team. She scored 446 career points. She ranks sixth in program history with 219 assists and eighth in program history with 185 steals.
