• Is in the top 10 of seven different major Thiel career record lists
• Was named D3hoops.com All-American Honorable Mention, D3hoops.com All-Region Second Team and PAC Player of the Year in 2019

At Thiel

Jessica Vormelker '19 enters her fourth season as the head women's basketball coach at Thiel in 2026-27.

2025-26

• Completed her third season leading the Tomcats
• Picked up her first win as leader of the Cats at Penn State Shenango on Nov. 12 (82-67)
• Led Thiel to its most wins in a season (six) since 2019 (eight)
• Thiel's four road wins were its most in a campaign since 2012
• Mentored All-PAC guard Issy Green

2024-25

• Completed her second season at the helm of the program 

2023-24

• Coached her first season at her alma mater
• Began the rebuilding process of the program

Before Thiel

Allegheny (2021-23)

Vormelker spent two seasons as an assistant coach at PAC North-rival Allegheny. She was the advisor for the College’s SAAC and FCA as well as handling gameday management for the Gators' women’s volleyball team and serving in a facilities management role for the David V. Wise Center and Robertson Athletic Complex.

Waynesburg (2019-21)

Vormelker was a graduate assistant at PAC South-foe Waynesburg for two seasons.
