Jessi Juarez enters her second season as Director of Track & Field / Cross Country at Thiel in 2026-27. 

2025-26

  • Hired as Director of Track & Field / Cross Country
  • Mentored Carter Alexandre to USTFCCCA All-Region status, becoming the first Tomcat since 2023 to make an All-Region team and the first Tomcat freshman since 2016 to earn the distinction
  • Guided Aamiir Shaw to the indoor 60m school record (7.06s)
  • Oversaw 10 men's and three women's top 10 all-time performances in the Thiel record book during the indoor season
  • Oversaw 14 men's and eight women's top 10 all-time performances in the Thiel records during the outdoor campaign

BEFORE Thiel

Buena Vista (2023-25)

Juarez spent two seasons as head men's and women's track & field coach at Buena Vista.

  • Coached three all-conference performers
  • Mentored four NCAA national qualifiers
  • Produced seven school records
  • Revived the Dennis Young Indoor Classic
  • Led the largest alumni turnout for a home meet in school history

Wittenberg (2021-23)

Before Buena Vista, Juarez served as an assistant coach at Wittenberg.
