The Assistant to the Director of Athletics and Coordinator of Student-Athlete Academic Achievement, Moreland will also serve as head coach of Thiel’s women’s tennis team and assistant coach for the softball team in 2013-14.
A 2012 Thiel alumna, Moreland graduated Summa Cum Laude and earned the Dean’s Key after making the Dean’s List all eight semesters. She majored in Accounting, Business Administration and Fine Arts. She also earned a minor in English. Upon graduation, Moreland worked as an accountant for Warther Cutlery in Dover, Ohio.
Moreland returned to Thiel after a successful four-year career with the Tomcat softball team, in which she made the PAC Academic Honor Roll all four years. She currently is second in program history in career wins (22), career strikeouts (251), fourth in career complete games (34) and innings pitched (327).
