Ashley Wheeler enters her first season as a volunteer assistant coach for head coach Andy Hoggarth and the men’s and women’s soccer programs.
Wheeler returns to Thiel after having played collegiately for the Tomcats during 2000-2003 seasons. During that span she was a four-year starter and team captain.
Prior to returning to Thiel Wheeler served as an elementary and English as a Second Language (ESL) teacher in Houston, Texas for seven years.
Wheeler is a 2004 graduate of Thiel where she earned a bachelor’s degree in communication and elementary education. She earned a masters degree in elementary literacy from Walden University in 2009.
