Jake Paviol is in his second season as an assistant coach with the Thiel College men’s lacrosse team.
A native of Falls Village, Conn., Paviol was a four-year starter for the Tomcats the past four seasons (2012-15). In 57 career games, he recorded 30 points (14G, 16A) while scooping up 114 ground balls and causing 22 turnovers.
As a senior in 2015, Paviol notched 10 points (5G, 5A). He finished the 2015 season with 45 ground balls, the third most on the team. In 2014, he notched 12 points (3G, 9A) and his 41 ground balls tied him for the third most on the team.
Paviol is majoring in environmental science and minoring in chemistry at Thiel College.
