Austin Moore is in his first season with the Tomcats as the tight ends coach in 2021.
A native of Mooresville, North Carolina, Moore graduated from Lake Norman High School in 2014 where he played wide receiver and safety. Moore earned his bachelor’s degree in sports management from Southern New Hampshire University in 2020.
Moore worked as a member of the Carolina Panthers’ guest relations staff for nearly five years. He then worked as an executive front office/basketball operations intern for the Charlotte Hornets, where he assisted in preparing and executing the 2019 NBA All-Star Weekend. Moore also assisted in scouting operations and pre-draft workouts for the Hornets. This will be Moore’s first full-time coaching position.
