Summer 2010 Camp Descriptions
TOMCAT CAMP
This is a one day position specific camp for athletes entering the 10th, 11th or 12th grade as of the fall of 2010. Campers will participate in drills and receive professional coaching from the Thiel College Coaching staff. The TOMCAT CAMP will also teach and emphasize the fundamentals of each position, strength and speed techniques, as well as the desire to COMPETE against the competition. The TOMCAT CAMP will take place on Saturday June 19th. Deadline for registration is Friday June 4th. $25 / Camper

TOMCAT SKILLS DEVELOPMENTAL CAMP
This is a three day camp for athletes entering the 7th, 8th or 9th grade as of the fall of 2010. The TOMCAT SKILLS DEVELOPMENTAL CAMP will focus on and emphasize the fundamentals of every position. Campers will have the opportunity to learn the basics from the Thiel College Coaching staff on a personal basis. In addition to the individualized attention each camper will participate in a flag football tournament, capture the flag challenge and a dodge ball tournament. The TOMCAT SKILLS DEVELOPMENTAL CAMP will take place June 16th - 18th at Alumni Stadium. Deadline for registration will be Monday May 31st. $45 / Camper

THIEL COLLEGE FOOTBALL’S 2ND ANNUAL YOUTH CAMP
The Thiel College Football staff is very proud to announce that we are hosting our Second Annual Youth Camp. Last year’s camp was such a success that we want to do it all again. The three day camp will be for athletes in 4th, 5th, and 6th grade as of the fall of 2010. Campers will have the opportunity to receive quality coaching from the Tomcat Staff on the very basic fundamentals of the game, as well as take part in a flag football tournament along with other activities that will emphasize the ideals of teamwork, athleticism and leadership. The THIEL COLLEGE FOOTBALL 2ND ANNUAL YOUTH CAMP will take place at Alumni Stadium June 14th-15th, all registration forms and waivers must be in no later than May 31st. $35 / Camper

TOMCAT PASSING TOURNAMENT AND LINEMAN’S CHALLENGE
The TOMCAT PASSING TOURNAMENT AND LINEMAN’S CHALLENGE is a one day event that will allow your school to COMPETE versus other area schools in a tournament style 7 on 7 competition. Also included in this day while the Passing Tournament is going on the Thiel College coaching staff will be hosting a LINEMAN’S CHALLENGE. This competition will get area linemen to compete in the areas of strength, power, speed, agility and athleticism in our individual competition and team competition. The tournament will be held Saturday June 26th. Deadline for registration will be Friday June 11th.
TOMCAT PASSING TOURNAMENT – $125 / Team
LINEMAN’S CHALLENGE - $25 / Contestant $100 / Team
CAMP APPAREL
Athletes should come dressed with the weather in mind and be dressed appropriately considering the weather as well as the events they will be participating in. Official Thiel College Football Apparel can be found at the merchandise section at www.thielathletics.com
REGISTRATION
To register go to www.thiel.edu/footballcamp complete the online registration form, print out and complete the waiver form, and mail the waiver with check or money order to the address listed below. Please include the camper’s name on the check or money order. We cannot guarantee availability in any camp session after the deadline. Availability cannot be guaranteed if all slots are full prior to deadline date.

CANCELLATIONS / REFUNDS
All cancellations must be received in writing prior to the start of the camp session. Cancellations received after the start of the camp session will not be eligible for a refund. The camp sessions begin with registration on the first day of each camp.
DISCOUNTS
Discounts are available for families who have campers registered in multiple camps or have more than one child registered in a given camp. Discounts will also be eligible for teams that bring ten (10) or more players. To qualify for the discount, all registrations must be submitted together in the same envelope. Registrations sent separately will not qualify for the discounted rates.
Children of Thiel College employees are also eligible for discounted camp rates. Proof of employment must be provided when you mail in your registration items.
