BEAVER FALLS, Pa. (Sept. 29) -- The Thiel College Women's Tennis team dropped a 7-0 decision at Geneva College in Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) action from Blackhawk Tennis Courts Tuesday.

The Tomcats drop to 0-6 (0-3) while the Golden Tornadoes rise to 4-4 (2-3).

Summer Stitt (Greenville, Pa./Greenville) and Olivia Walker (Greenville, Pa./Greenville) collected a 6-4 victory at No. 3 doubles for the Tomcats. The home side took the other two doubles tilts to earn the point.

Walker had a strong showing at No. 5 singles, but ultimately fell 6-1, 6-3. Stitt took a trio of games at No. 6 singles before dropping 6-1, 6-2.

Thiel continues its week Thursday with a third-straight road contest, this time at Allegheny beginning at 4:30 p.m.
